In 1903, Captain Elias Harris, a member of the Harris side of my family, published a 30 page booklet on Lake George . It was only a small printing and very few were available for sale at the time. In my family collection, I have one of the only remaining copies and have reprinted it here in softcover for everyone’s enjoyment. Captain Harris served aboard the early steamboats William Caldwell, John Jay, Minne-Ha-Ha (I), Sagamore, Horicon (I) and Ticonderoga (I).
